Apple is revving things up in the video games industry with the introduction of Apple Arcade earlier this year. And with LEGO working partnership with the most valuable tech company on the planet, we can be sure that LEGO has plenty in store for Apple users and mobile gamers. In fact, its quite a busy year for LEGO as far as mobile gaming is concerned. We have the upcoming launch of LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed this fall, and LEGO Star Wars Battles which is scheduled for release next year. Plus with the upcoming launch of LEGO Brawls for the Apple Arcade this month, the mobile gaming landscape couldn’t be more exciting.
From what he heard from Bricks Fanz, LEGO Brawls combines the fast-paced action of a 4v4 multiplayer setup, set in an expansive LEGO brick universe. Developed by Red Games Co., LEGO Brawls allows you to build and customize your very own LEGO minifigure character avatar that will battle it out against other contenders across iconic LEGO themes. Whether be it in Ninjago City, in outer space or the vast desert wasteland, LEGO Brawls offers a challenging and yet fun environment where you can battle it out with friends or cooperatively play with them.
Each particular stage in LEGO Brawls also offers the chance of achieving certain hilarious power-ups and vehicles with that signature brand of LEGO humor. You can choose from an array of pie launchers, money guns, jet packs, and even a silly old hotdog stand. Here’s some in-game footage courtesy of Apple Arcade.

Apple Arcade is Apple’s new subscription-based gaming service that gives its users unlimited access to more than a hundred mobile games exclusive to the Apple platform, with more rolling out throughout the rest of the year. Up to six people can share on a subscription where each of them can pick-up and play across multiple devices. Yep, you read it right. It seems that there will always be those group of people who will not miss out an opportunity to trick people in doing their bidding. Rebelscum raises the warning flag when a fraudulent claim from a shady site claims to already have a copy of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga which is yet to be officially released on December 31, 2020. This recent posting came from GamerHQ.com, where it claims that you can download the said game from their site – for free. Now I’m quite positive that I am NOT hitting that download button for any reason at all. Read on for what this site has to say about this unholy early release. Be warned though, you might find the English tad confusing.

Reading this ‘product description’ makes me think that I’m either reading from a poorly translated text, or an AI-powered droid is just tripping on me. In any case, do remember that this claim is FAKE. And for the love of the brick, do yourself a favor by not downloading anything from this site. Or else you will be taking the unnecessary risk of turning your PC into a nice, hefty piece of paperweight. Be sure to do your research and check with legitimate sites before you believe in anything that you see or read over the internet. It will also help if you add our Brick Show blog to your feed so you can immediately be notified with the latest legit news in this side of the LEGO Star Wars galaxy. Here’s the announce trailer once again for the LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga video game.
I have to admit that this news from the LEGO Star Wars front fell off from my radar. With the hype and excitement behind the upcoming LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga video game, I guess it’s kind of easy to be distracted and miss out on what LEGO has in store particularly on the mobile gaming platform. And starting next year, fans of LEGO mobile games can look forward to LEGO Star Wars Battles on their Android and Apple mobile devices, as announced over at StarWars.com.
This latest LEGO mobile game will feature a tower-building and defense gameplay, coupled with a huge collection of Star Wars characters and vehicles to collect. It’s a pretty cool idea to see all your favorite SW characters (including newer ones from the upcoming Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker) mashed-up in a hilarious, brick-built battleground. Check out the LEGO Star Wars Battles official press release below.

The LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga is touted to be the latest and grandest Star Wars-inspired video game that LEGO and TT Games has to offer since the release of LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens back in 2016. We got a glimpse of what to expect from this game earlier in June, with a teaser trailer that suggests an immersive, all-encompassing video game experience that covers all the nine Star Wars films including material from the upcoming Star Wars conclusion in The Rise of Skywalker film. However, TT Games and WB Games only gave us some bits of info of what to expect from their latest offering, which is somewhat typical of what we can find from other LEGO video game releases: a unique kind of LEGO humor, co-op play, customizable minifig player avatars, and film-inspired locations. However, much is still wanting with regards to gameplay and other details that gamers are particular about.
Though the LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga video game is still set for a 2020 launch, we can cross our fingers and hope to see our first in-game footage at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show (TGS) in Japan. According to Gematsu and at the TGS’ official website, the said video game is part of a line-up of reveals that will find its way in Japan’s most celebrated video game event. It will be presented alongside another LEGO video game which is the LEGO Jurassic World on the Nintendo Switch platform.
A screengrab from the Tokyo Game Show 2019 website, that features the LEGO Jurassic World for the Nintendo Switch, and the LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga.
For one, the TGS website makes it clear that a trailer for the LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga is slated to be presented on a soon-to-be-announced date, anytime between September 12 to 15 throughout the duration of the Tokyo Game Show. However, details are scant regarding the content of what will be presented about the game. We don’t know yet if what they will be showing is just the same, previously released teaser trailer (which is quite unlikely), or will they include new material and perhaps a few minutes of actual gameplay. I certainly hope it will be the latter.
I guess we just have to find out next week when the Tokyo Game Show 2019 commences next week. Be sure to follow our blog site for more details on this latest LEGO Star Wars video game.
The LEGO Jurassic World video game has been out for quite some time. Since 2015, it has been available across major gaming platforms even older ones such as the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. And as far as Nintendo is concerned, this collaboration between TT Fusion and WB Interactive has everything covered including being available to the 3DS and Wii U users. This time around, Nintendo Switch owners will have the chance of revisiting all four films but of course with a LEGO twist, starting September 17.
The LEGO Jurassic World for the Nintendo Switch will feature the original games based on all four Jurassic films: Jurassic Park (1993), The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Jurassic Park (2001) and Jurassic World (2015). Other than its expected launch date on September 17, we still have no info on its pricing and other game features that may be unique for its Switch version. It would be interesting if WB Interactive will throw in a DLC or add a new level on the game considering that we already have Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom from last year.
The Nintendo eShop hasn’t updated its listing yet to include this latest offering so I suggest that you keep tabs with the online selling portal as well for any updates on the Switch version of the LEGO Jurassic World. For now, you may want to check out the latest LEGO Jurassic World Isla Nublar sets now available at shop.LEGO.com. Just click on the following links below.
Since its launch in 2016, the LEGO open-world video game LEGO Worlds, have so much potential to become the next sandbox game to contend against Minecraft. However, after three years and a failed a Survivor DLC update, it seems that the end is finally near with LEGO Worlds. The announcement has been made via the game’s official YouTube channel when the final collection of free LEGO Worlds downloadable content has been released. Here’s the video announcement earlier in July.
The final collection of LEGO Worlds content is finally here for you to download and it’s absolutely FREE! As a thank you to all our Master Builders we’ve amassed a humongous bundle of minifigures, brick builds, props and more for you to craft even more lavish LEGO creations and continue your exciting adventures. The Showcase Collection Pack 2 is available to download right now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
Get all the AWESOMELY FREE content we released on the showcase in 2018! Download your favorite characters, builds, props and more from ALL of the amazing sets we released, including original models featuring Pirates, the Wild West, and Ancient Egypt.
This final free DLC features an array of expansion packs such as Cloud Castles, Treasure Islands, City Life, Ancient Egypt, The Wild West, Ninjago City, Carnival Fun Fair and much more. Though some fans were clearly upset about this announcement, LEGO Worlds really didn’t take flight as compared to other LEGO video games such as LEGO Marvel Superheroes and its sequel, and LEGO DC Super-Villains. The game clearly has potential, but I guess it failed to click with some gamers and fans.
So what do you think went wrong with LEGO Worlds? What improvements could have been made in order for it to be a top-LEGO video game? Share us what you think in the comments below.

It’s kind of hard to miss the fact that LEGO is on a roll as far as developing video games are concerned. After the announcement of two LEGO mobile games namely the LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed and LEGO Tower, it seems that a new LEGO video game is about to make its debut by next month. To be launched across multiple gaming platforms, the news was announced by long-time partner Warner Bros and TT Games, and the timing of the reveal couldn’t be better – the new mystery video game will be revealed just in time with this year’s E3 which will happen in Los Angeles, California from June 11 to 13, 2019.
The news was shared by Playstation fan site, Pure Playstation. Though the gaming titans made it clear that they will be a launching a new LEGO-inspired video game at E3, WB and TT Games are still mum on what this will be. There are likely candidates though, and the signs seem to point to a new LEGO Star Wars game since it has been almost three years since we had the LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens video game. And now that the Skywalker saga is about to come to an end with the final Star Wars installment, Rise of Skywalker, perhaps now is the best time to finish this gaming installment as well.
If you recall, TLG tends to gravitate towards completing its licensed video game sagas, similar to the movies and franchises they were based on. We have a LEGO Incredibles video game that features content based on the first and second films. The LEGO Marvel Collection likewise features all three previously released LEGO Marvel video games: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, LEGO Marvel Avengers, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. And of course, we can’t leave out the LEGO Harry Potter Collection combining all seven years of Potterlore in two convenient discs. Needless to say, now is the time for that long overdue LEGO Star Wars video game follow-up. Come to think of it, it was also in the month of June when the LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens video game was released, and it was in 2016’s E3 when the game was first introduced.
As much as I would like to see a LEGO Star Wars Video Game Collection, I have to say that all of this is just speculation from my part until such time that we actually hear from LEGO during next month’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). For the meantime, we just have to patiently wait for the next two weeks. Thanks to Brick Fanatics for the tip.
In terms of LEGO-related news, most LEGO DC Super-Villains might already qualify as “old.” However, WB Interactive and Traveller’s Tales have done their best to keep the videogame both diverse and relevant. All it takes is a periodical release of newDLCupdates for the title. And their latest one’s a beauty. The year 2010 had DC fans enthralled when DC Entertainment released the Young Justice animated series on Cartoon Network. Unfortunately, its unprofitable toy-line with Mattel led to cancellation after only two seasons. Fan support led to creators Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman to continue the series on DC Universe streaming. It premiered last January.
History lesson over; as if it weren’t obvious, Young Justice is the theme for the new “LDCSV” DLC. Interestingly, the new LEGO characters are the titular heroes as they appeared in the original CN show. Superboy, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, and Artemis are the pack’s playable starters, with new additional villain Black Beetle being unlocked after he gets beaten.
LEGO DC Super-Villains, if you need reminding, remains available on PS4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo Switch. The Young Justice DLC is automatically available for downloading by Season Pass-holders and Delux Edition owners. Otherwise, it’s worth $2.99 to download.
