Looking back at it,I see what you mean. The Siege of Gondor is very well done. And while they could’ve just made a white wall and slapped some minifigs on it,the idea of it practically freezing time right as the boulder hit and having debris everywhere is amazing, and the execution was equally wonderful. The reason why the Gate of Moria is my favourite is because of how natural it feels with the trees looming over the gate, and the part usage for the glowing part of the gate is very unique and accurate.

Yeah, this brick-built version of the LEGO LOTR MOC Shelob is not for the faint of heart! But if we’re talking about ingenuity and clever use of building techniques, then the last one that depicts the Siege of Gondor is simply amazing. The visual effect of having a boulder hit and smash the pieces of the tower, plus the three-dimensional effect that it provides makes this vignette pops up from the screen. Impressive building!

older flame pieces used to have little knobs attached to their side, mainly so that they could connect to dragon’s mouths, but however, moc builders have exploited that and have realized that you could attach flame pieces to each other.Good question. 🙂

And I’m so sorry to anyone who has arachnophobia, because that Shelob one is just soooo incredibly detailed. But altogether amazing mocs. 🙂

Comment on Stay Away From These Fake LEGO Shopping Websites by Albert Balanza https://brickshow.com/2018/09/fake-lego-shopping-websites/comment-page-1/#comment-4945 Wed, 21 Feb 2024 19:56:58 +0000 https://brickshow.com/?p=24969#comment-4945 In reply to Evan Laubach.

Yeah, this site raises plenty of red flags. The .cc domain is registered for Cocos (Keeling) Islands Territory in Australia, but the Contact Us section of the site will lead you to an email address assigned in Korea. And considering that they claim that their stores are located in various places in Australia, what the heck do they mean that their official stores are run by their “diapergenieus headquarter”??? Very, very shaddy. 🙂

Comment on Rumor: A LEGO Dungeons and Dragons CMF is Expected to Arrive in September! by Albert Balanza https://brickshow.com/2024/02/lego-dungeons-and-dragons-cmf-coming-soon/comment-page-1/#comment-4944 Wed, 21 Feb 2024 19:43:19 +0000 https://brickshow.com/?p=93937#comment-4944 In reply to mega klocki.

I guess they did try with the LEGO Vidiyo series but it just didn’t catch on. D&D has a huge fan base and appeal to older LEGO fans so yeah, its a long time coming. 🙂
