LEGO Shop@Home Offers LEGO Collectible Minifigures Marvel Studios – 6 Pack (66678)

September 1 saw the expected release of multiple LEGO sets and extras. Among them is LEGO Minifigures Marvel Studios (71031), a new series of 12 minifigs of characters from the MCU. Specifically, they hail from the live-action limited series and animated anthology What If available on Disney+ streaming. Each LEGO Minifigures 71031 foil pack gives you a shot at getting Variant Loki from Loki, Scarlet Witch from WandaVision, T’Challa Star-Lord from What If, and more. But if you’re got little patience for scouring single minifig packs then LEGO has an alternative approach for you – the LEGO Collectible Minifigures Marvel Studios 6-Pack (66678).

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Marvel Studios

Why bother opening multiple bags for one character at a time, when you can shoot for six? Check out LEGO Collectible Minifigures Marvel Studios 6-Pack (66678), now listed at Shop@Home. Every 6-Pack of 66678 contains six 71031 minifigures. It’s worth $29.94 or exactly six $4.99 LEGO minifig bags. How’s that for great convenience?

71031 alt1

Grouping single bags of LEGO minifigures in a series isn’t exactly new. In a way that’s quite helpful for collectors. If there are any catches then they would be these two snags. Number 1: buying on Shop@Home will limit the quantity of LEGO Marvel Studios 6-Pack (66678) to three per household. That’s 18 chances to collect 12 characters. Number 2: as of this writing, both the 6-pack and the individual 71031 minifigure bags are sold out at Shop@Home (in the US at least). Hopefully, they’ll restock soon; these items are new after all. Online shoppers just need only wait some more.

More Hints on the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031)

The full-length official trailer of the next MCU Disney+ series has already been released, and with it comes more hints on what we can expect from the upcoming LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031). In case you missed it, you may watch it right here.

If you recall from last month, I published a list of these rumored MCU characters that are said to be included in the next LEGO CMF series. First off, it is clear by now that unlike last year’s DC Comics-inspired LEGO CMF (71026), the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031) source material will be entirely from the new MCU Disney+ offerings – from WandaVision up to the animated What If…? series. And now that we have seen the official trailer of the upcoming multiverse series, coupled with the exciting reveals of Loki’s episode 5, we can better fine-tune our list.

With more information coming from Brick Fanatics, here’s the latest rundown of what we can expect from our next licensed LEGO CMF.

      • Scarlet Witch
      • White Vision
      • Monica Rambeau (it was initially thought that it was Agatha Harkness, but the latest word from brick street shows that it will be the super-powered SWORD operative)
      • Captain America Sam Wilson (with shield and new wings)
      • Bucky Barnes (with new printed arm and knife)
      • Loki (in a trench coat with the word VARIANT printed at the back, and Throg as an accessory as seen in Loki Episode 5)
      • Sylvie (now that the Loki series has revealed Sylvie as the one trying to burn the TVA to the ground instead of Lady Loki, we can expect her to be in the LEGO CMF as well)
      • Captain Britain Peggy Carter (with shield and Tessaract)
      • Zombie Captain America
      • Star-Lord T’Challa (with a pair of blasters)
      • Spider Supreme (it was initially thought that this will be a Steve Rogers version of Spidey, but the latest official trailer of What If…? has shown this character to be a multiverse counterpart of Peter Parker with a penchant for a Doctor Strange-like capes)
      • Warlord Gamora (inspired by Thanos and wields a double blade similar to what the Mad Titan used

Though sources tell us that we can expect only 12 minifigures from this line-up, I’m still hoping they will throw in more minifigures coming from this Marvel and Disney+ collab. I guess we just have to wait for LEGO’s official word which I believe will be anytime soon.

More Details on the Rumored LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031)

After confirming the arrival of the next CMF series via LEGO’s online product catalog, more information is starting to come in prior to its arrival in September. As I’ve also mentioned before, this next Collectible Minifigure series will most likely tie in with the latest MCU-inspired Disney+ series, all brought together in the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031).

As reported by Promobricks, the latest word on brick street is that these minifigures will directly refer to the Disney+ MCU series that are currently available on the streaming platform, and one that is scheduled to arrive in August. So heads up if you haven’t seen some of these series yet and wish to avoid any heavy spoilers.

According to sources, these are what to expect from the LEGO CMF Series 71031. Remember that all of these minifigs are said to be based on MCU characters, in contrast to what LEGO offered last year with the LEGO DC Comics CMF (71026). This upcoming series will also include the popular “action element” – a relatively new angled bar that allows for a wide range of dynamic posing for these minifigures

        • Scarlet Witch
        • White Vision
        • Agatha Harkness (in her purple, witch form)
        • Captain America Sam Wilson (with shield and new wings)
        • Bucky Barnes (with new printed arm and knife)
        • Loki (in a trench coat with printed VARIANT at the back)
        • Throg (with a red cape and Frogjolnir)
        • Lady Loki
        • Captain Britain Peggy Carter (with shield and Tessaract)
        • Zombie Captain America
        • Star-Lord T’Challa (with a pair of blasters)
        • Spider-Man Steve Rogers (with new printing and cape)
        • Gamora (inspired by Thanos and wields a double blade similar to what the Mad Titan used)

I do not want to assume at this point that we are seeing the complete list here since we only have 13 characters as of now, and I feel that there might still be some other characters that are going to be included. Last year’s DC Comics CMF for example offered 16 minifigures, so we can somewhat expect that the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031) will follow in the same direction.

So what do you think about this list? Are we to see more MCU characters added to this series? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71031) Series Arriving in September

Now that almost all of LEGO’s regional online product catalogs are now up via LEGO servers, including the reuploaded Japanese LEGO catalog that gave us a peek at this year’s series of LEGO Friends, Marvel, and City Advent Calendars, more information has been coming out from other regional catalogs as well. And thanks to the Taiwanese version of this online catalog, we now have confirmation on when the LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71031) series will be out.

00 LEGO Taiwan 2HY2021

The Taiwanese online LEGO catalog has included its usual dedicated page for the LEGO CMF series, particularly for the LEGO Looney Tunes CMF (71030). And at the corner of the page is an announcement that the next wave of collectible minifigures is slated to arrive in September 1st.

59 LEGO Taiwan 2HY2021 2

Now, to be frank, it has been customary for LEGO for the past years to release its final wave of CMF during September, similar to what it did with last year’s LEGO Harry Potter CMF Series 2 (71028). Furthermore, we’ve seen a sort of trend with regards to LEGO’s CMF releases – with one unique CMF series that follows its traditional series (like the recent Series 21 71029), and two licensed ones from last year in the form of the LEGO Harry Potter CMF Series 2 (71028), and LEGO DC Super Heroes CMF (71026). Word on brick street is that this next series will most probably be the much-awaited LEGO Marvel Super Heroes CMF (71031), which will be based on Disney+ characters from its latest MCU TV series (Wandavision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and What If…?)

Again, this is just a rumor until such time that LEGO officially reveals them. So it will be wise to consider this speculation with a grain of salt. However, with the recent confirmation of its release in September, we can also expect that we will be hearing more about the LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71031) series in the coming weeks. Thanks to Jay’s Brick Blog for the heads-up.

LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures (71030) Now Listed at LEGO Shop@Home

LEGO’s online shopping portal has now made it official, revealing its latest LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures (71030) series including its retail price and release date of April 26, 2021.

First confirmed by a third-party retailer several days ago, LEGO has now unveiled it over at LEGO Shop@Home showcasing its twelve (12) classic Looney Tunes characters now given the LEGO CMF treatment. Each CMF blind bag is expected to retail for $4.99, with each boxed set consisting of 36 bags or 3 complete sets of all twelve characters. Personally, I’m glad that LEGO did not opt for the boxed packaging format as it did for the LEGO Vidiyo Bandmates Series 1 (43101). I still prefer the blind bag packaging for the LEGO CMF line for that matter.

LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures (71031) – Details From the Rumor Mill

As a huge fan of LEGO Collectible Minifigures, I really have to say that LEGO did a fine good job with this year’s upcoming offerings. After the unofficial reveal of the LEGO Looney Tunes CMF Series (71030), now comes another wave of licensed LEGO minifigs to watch out for. And if the rumors turn out to be true, then we have to prep our wallets once again for the arrival of the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures (71031) series this August.

LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures: What We Know

According to reliable LEGO insider, lego_fulcrum over on Instagram, this year will see the release of a wave of LEGO Marvel CMF similar to what LEGO did with last year’s LEGO DC CMF (71026). Furthermore, if the rumors turn out to be true, we can probably expect the following:

    • According to sources, the LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures (71031) will be based primarily on MCU’s latest series over at Disney+. This means to say we will be getting characters from WandavisionFalcon & The Winter Soldier, the upcoming Loki series, and the animated series “What If…?”
    • From Wandavision, I’m crossing my fingers for a new Scarlet Witch minifigure, with the new costume and all as revealed from the series’ final episode. A White Vision will also be great, and of course a LEGO rendition of Agatha Harkness.
    • We are still halfway through the Falcon & The Winter Soldier series, but a new Falcon and Bucky minifigs are surely in order. And perhaps a new Baron Zemo and a yet-to-be-revealed Power Broker minifigures are well on their way as well.
    • The MCU multiverse version of Loki (the one that runs away with the Tesseract in Avengers Endgame) might also be receiving a new minifigure version. There’s a ton of possible Marvel characters that may also be revealed later on so I will hold my horses and wait for how things will pan out in June when the series premieres on Disney+
    • Then finally we have the Disney+ animated series “What If…?”. Needless to say, the minifigure possibilities for this one are virtually endless considering the nature of the show. However, if I were to base it on the initial trailer that we saw last December, then I wouldn’t mind seeing an Uatu The Watcher minifigure since he seems to be the narrator of the series (much like an Alfred Hitchcock BTS type of character), and a Captain Peggy Carter minifig with that new British Union Jack shield.

I want to emphasize though that these are just speculations at this point until we receive further confirmation from LEGO or other third-party retailers that are quite excited to put them on shelves. And with most likely 12 LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures characters to be included, the potential list of Marvel characters to be given the LEGO CMF treatment is as vast as the MCU multiverse itself. Here’s my own wishlist for this series:

            1. Scarlet Witch (Wandavision version)
            2. White Vision
            3. Agatha Harkness
            4. Falcon (Disney+ version)
            5. Bucky (Disney+ version) – if you look hard enough, you might probably see it’s supposed minifig torso making rounds over the internet.
            6. Baron Zemo
            7. Power Broker
            8. Loki (Disney+ version)
            9. Mobius
            10. Kang the Conqueror – the series might set him up as the main villain later on.
            11. Uatu the Watcher
            12. Captain Peggy Carter

I have to say that this speculative list is pretty insane to begin with. Also bear in mind that these are just my predictions based on existing information that we have right now, and we have to wait and see until July to probably have a full reveal of this latest LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series (71031).

So how about your predictions? What Disney+ MCU character do you think will make it to this upcoming LEGO CMF series? Drop-in your predictions in the comments below.

LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures (71030) Confirmed!

I had to take a second look at this one, partly because at the back of my mind, I’m still wary about those April 1st “news” that I have to contend with. However, I’m glad to say that this piece of news is excitingly legit and by no means a prank. Because as it turns out, the once rumored LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures (71030) is now finally confirmed! Beep beep! Super cool minifigs coming through!

Thanks to a Brickset member, we now have our first legitimate look at this new LEGO CMF. And to remove all doubts that this might be illegally leaked, Brickset member shima55 even uploaded a copy of the sales receipt issued by a third-party retail store from Northern California. The receipt confirms that the LEGO Looney Tunes CMF box contains 36 figures retailing for $215.64. And with 12 minifigs in this series, it stands to reason that each box contains three complete sets.

71030 box

And wow, just wow! I’m already loving this CMF line! The care and effort that LEGO just showed in coming up with an entirely new range of minifigure molds for this series are just awesome. And how these minifigs captured that classic Looney Tunes nostalgia just leaves the entire CMF to be desired. The choice of accessories is just as hilarious as well. I’m really having a blast right now at those anvil and birdseed accessories for Coyote and Road Runner. I bet Sylvester will also have second thoughts on that massive sledgehammer that Tweety is holding, lol. And the references for those Rabbit Season and That’s All Folks printed tiles are just spot-on hilarious.

shima55 was also kind enough to share this CMF checklist as well, where we can see all of the twelve characters included in this LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures (71030). I zoomed in at each character so we can have a better look.

#09 Tasmanian Devil

#10 Marvin the Martian

#11 Petunia Pig

Though these minifigs are numbered in such a way that suggests that they are basically paired (like Coyote and Road Runner, or Tweety Bird and Sylvester for example), I couldn’t help but wonder why Elmer Fudd or Yosemite Sam is not included in this list. I’m just crossing my fingers that this offering is just the first series for this line and that a LEGO Looney Tunes CMF Series 2 might be in the works as well.

Whatever is the case, this latest LEGO CMF will definitely be in my must-have minifigs for this year, and I just hope that LEGO Shop@Home will be listing them soon. So what are your thoughts on this latest LEGO CMF offer? Which LEGO Looney Tunes character are you most excited for? Let’s talk about it in the comments below.

A big thank you once again to Brickset for sharing this good news.

The LEGO Catalog H1 2021 Now Up At LEGO Servers

UPDATE: It seems that the LEGO Catalog H1 2021 has been uploaded by mistake since it is no longer available to download from LEGO’s servers.

LEGO has uploaded the digital version of its LEGO Catalog H1 2021 (January to May 2021), and with it comes more LEGO sets that are expected to arrive during the 1st quarter of 2021. From the looks of it, LEGO still has plenty of surprises in store, other than what we know so far coming from its 2021 lineup of sets (e.g. those coming from its various non-licensed themes such City, Creator, Ninjago, and Friends among others).

Needless to say, the LEGO Catalog H1 2021 fills in some of the gaps that are noticeably missing in the upcoming sets that were revealed last time. Let’s take a look at some of these additional sets, all of which are slated to be available in February and March. I’ll keep you posted once these sets are listed over at LEGO Shop@Home.

There’s no word yet on the brick street on what this next wave of collectible minifigs will be, but given LEGO’s previous CMF releases, we can expect that this is most likely to come from a licensed theme.
