I guess this proves how famous this awful goose is. In just less than a month when it first debuted as a LEGO product idea, the LEGO Ideas Untitled Goose Game is now a step closer to becoming an official LEGO set after it garnered 10,000 fan votes on the LEGO Ideas platform. Based on the smash-hit video game developed by House House, this brick rendition is the creation of LEGO fan builder A Fellow Player that shows how one horrible goose can make life hilariously difficult for our hapless gardener.
Untitled Goose Game
The worldwide phenomenon of 2019 comes to LEGO! Enjoy life as a destructive goose in a small garden. Watch out for the gardener and his many tools! Props Included: Jam, Apple, Sprinkler, Goose Sign, Rose Bush, Carrot, Loose Foliage, Spoon, Shovel, Sun Hat, Hammer, Ice Chest, and a Key. Preferably, there would be more than one minifigure, but no others fit this scene. Some difficulties came with the printing and the post will be updated when they are fixed.
The LEGO Ideas Untitled Goose Game is the third qualifier to make it for the First 2020 Review Stage, following our first entry of the year, Mary Poppins, Cherry Tree Lane, and the Tesla Cybertruck.
Indie game developer House House may find itself in partnership with LEGO, and it all depends on the collective effort of LEGO fans. In just a span of 4 months, the groundbreaking slapstick/stealth/sandbox video game with a no less attractive title, Untitled Goose Game, is now closer to the possibility of having an official LEGO set.
A LEGO fan that goes by the name A Fellow Player over at the LEGO Ideas platform has submitted a product idea that skyrocketed in votes as much as its game counterpart. If the name sounds familiar to you then you might remember that he/she is the person behind that delicious-looking Tricaketops that I featured last August. The LEGO Ideas Untitled Goose Game is A Fellow Player’s attempt to bring into LEGO brick form that horrible goose that most of us fell in love with.
In fact, the LEGO Ideas Untitled Goose Game also won the heart of the LEGO Ideas Team so much so that it even became a staff pick. In just 4 days, it already reached more than 50% of the votes required to hit the 10K milestone. Here’s what A Fellow Player has to say about his/her entry.

If you want this product idea to become an official LEGO set, then head over at ideas.LEGO.com and cast your vote. We’ve just wrapped the Third 2019 LEGO Ideas Qualifying Period, so we have to see if this next product idea will be able to have enough following to qualify itself for the first 2020 review stage. So what do you think, will the Untitled Goose Game make it to the next LEGO Ideas Review Stage and endear the review team? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
Following the first LEGO Ideas product idea to qualify for the First 2020 Review Stage, we now have another entry to garner 10K support from LEGO fans. The LEGO Ideas Tesla Cybertruck by BrickinNick now shares the stage with Mary Poppins Cherry Tree Lane to become a possible set LEGO set later on.
The LEGO Ideas Tesla Cybertruck is based on Elon Musk’s vision of a ‘cyberpunk’ electric vehicle that is touted to have “better utility than a truck with more performance than a sports car”. This brick rendition by BrickinNick attempts to replicate this vision by adding certain play features such as a working frunk (front trunk) or hood and tailgate functions similar to its real-life counterpart. He also upped the ante with this product idea by adding functional side doors, a mini-Tesla Cybertruck, Cyberquad, and a ramp.
Read on for the complete description of this product idea.
LEGO Ideas Cybertruck
“Better utility than a truck with more performance than a sports car” – Tesla Motors
The Tesla Cybertruck is one of the most polarizing vehicles ever. And it’s an all-electric one at that. As a long-time electric vehicle (EV) fan, I was excited for Tesla to be bringing out their own “Cyberpunk” inspired pickup truck. So much so, that I decided to build my own. Together, we can bring this crazy all-electric vehicle to LEGO fans all over the world!
About the build…
While it’s design may not be for everyone, many different elements and functions of the Cybertruck lend themselves well to an electrifying LEGO build. At this time, only the frunk (front trunk) and tailgate function. Opening passenger doors, a full interior, fold or slide-out ramp, opening charging ports, steering, suspension, the Tesla ATV, and more could all be integrated (and are being worked on for future project updates) making for an incredibly fun building experience. LEGO motorization could even turn this into a truly all-electric vehicle in brick form!
Dimensions: 35.6 cm L x 15.2 cm W x 12.7 cm H (14″ L x 6″ W x 5″ H)
Why will this make for a great LEGO set?
Tesla’s mission has always been to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. This aligns with the LEGO Group’s goal of sustainability and leaving a positive impact on the planet. As of yet, EVs have only been marginally represented in the LEGO set catalog. The striking yet fun design of this LEGO Cybertruck would be an amazing way to get kids and adults alike excited about EVs and all the good they can do for our environment.
LEGO Ideas has tagged its First 2020 Review Stage qualifier that achieved 10K fan support in Disneybrick55’s LEGO Ideas Mary Poppins Cherry Tree Lane. After officially opening its Third 2019 Review Stage with 12 qualifying would-be LEGO Ideas sets, Disneybrick55’s original creation has now set the stage for the next wave of qualifying sets.
Based on the original 1964 film, this brick rendition of Cherry Tree Lane replicates how the set may have looked like during this time. As you can see from the images, the main and central portion of the build consists of the Bank family residence, while the adjacent houses are empty similar to the props used in the classic film.
This original LEGO Ideas Mary Poppins project proposal also features 8 minifigures: Mary Poppins, Bert, George Banks, Winifred Banks, Jane Banks, Michael Banks, Admiral Boom, and Mr. Dawes Jr.
Here’s a brief word from Disneybrick55 about his/her product idea.
Mary Poppins, Cherry Tree Lane
Discover the magic universe of Mary Poppins with this new project based on the 1964 original movie.
So this project contains the main part of Cherry tree lane avenue with the house of Banks’s family which includes a lot of details of the movie like the bedroom of children, the living room and stairs.
Other buildings are actually fake buildings with only the main side like in the movie set.
So I put 8 minifigures: Mary Poppins, Bert, George Banks, Winifred Banks, Jane Banks, Michael Banks, Admiral Boom, and Mr. Dawes Jr.
Do not hesitate to go on my Facebook page to see many creations based on Disney universe.
There’s a lot going on in LEGO Ideas recently. We’re just waiting for the official announcement of the LEGO Ideas International Space Station (21321) anytime soon while being excited about how the final versions of the LEGO Ideas Playable Piano, 123 Sesame Street, and The Pirate Baywill eventually look like. I’m super hyped for Ivan Guerrero’s LEGO Ideas 123 Sesame Street, being a fan of the classic children’s show when I was a kid. Simply put, 2020 is just a great year to be a LEGO fan.
It has been a while since I last visited the LEGO Ideas community, not because I lacked the interest (I’ve always been a fan of original LEGO creations coming from the community), but with so many things going on in this side of LEGO fandom its kind of hard to keep pace at times. So when the announcement finally came in rounding up the final list of LEGO fan submissions that got that overwhelming 10K support during the Third 2019 LEGO Ideas Qualifying Period, I just need to put the spotlight on these cool brick creations.
Let’s take a quick look at these 12 qualifiers and what we can expect from them.
The LEGO Ideas Review Team will surely have a bit of a challenge in determining which among these original creations will eventually end up on store shelves as the next official LEGO Ideas set. They’re all excellent in themselves and we even have our own favorites such as the Clockwork Aquarium and its fun play features. We just have to wait and see until the Review Stage is concluded sometime during the third quarter of the year.
We’re also waiting for the LEGO Ideas Review Team to wrap things up with the Second 2019 LEGO Ideas Review Stage, and hopefully, we can get a final word from them during the next few days in which among the ten sets from this batch will emerge as the next LEGO Ideas set.
Which among these Third 2019 LEGO Ideas product qualifiers are your favorites? Which do you think will emerge as the victor? Share us what you think in the comments below.
It has been long dreamt for by long-time LEGO and Nintendo fans that a sort of crossover happens between these two pop icons – and these next LEGO Ideas product idea may hopefully pave the way for that. The Legend of Zelda: BotW Stables by Hanwasyellowfirst is our next LEGO Ideas project that managed to earn those needed 10K fan votes to enable it to qualify for the Third 2019 LEGO Ideas Review Stage. This LEGO product idea takes its inspiration from the famed stables of the hit video game Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that was released back in March of 2017 together with the world debut of the highly popular Nintendo Switch.
The LEGO Ideas Legend of Zelda: BotW Stables faithfully recreates the stables that are commonly found throughout the land of Hyrule. It also features several roof sections that can be opened to reveal the inner workings of the build. Other features include a fire pit and several benches, crates, ingredients, and of course horses. Proposed minifigures for this product idea includes the characters of Link, Kaas, Beedle, Pikango, Stable Master, Traveller, and a Mystery Minifig.
The LEGO Ideas Legend of Zelda: BotW Stables
Here is my first submission for LEGO ideas. The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild Stable.
I chose the Stable as it captures well the spirit of this great Zelda game. Stables can be found throughout the vast landscape of Hyrule and I think it looks great as a LEGO set too, plus… horses!
Disclaimer: Unfortunately I have zero graphic design expertise. So when it comes to the minifigures you will have to use your imagination, I have tried to get something as close to representative as possible from what was on offer.
This, therefore, is also the case for any printed elements or stickers you imagine would be involved,
some classic Hylian script and some tasty recipes on the inside wall!
The Build:
The roof sections are hinged to allow the stable and horse pen to open up. Inside are 4 beds, a table and chairs, a recipe and the reception desk (for the trusty Stable Master to turn trusty Inn-keep).
Grab some apples or monster parts and cook up something tasty! Missing an ingredient? Why don’t you check the crates, or ask Beedle! I’m sure I saw a Lizalfos horn somewhere about…
Feed the stable dog a nice piece of prime meat, maybe he will reward you!
You may even be able to see signs of a sneaky Korok nearby…
After achieving the necessary 10,000 votes needed to move forward, the LEGO Ideas Seinfeld 30th Anniversary product idea by BrentWaller now qualifies for the Third 2019 LEGO Ideas Review Stage. This original LEGO Ideas project proposal celebrates 30 years of the beloved classic 90s comedy TV series, following a similar vein as such that of the now available (but temporarily out of stock) LEGO Ideas Central Perk (21319).
The LEGO Ideas Seinfeld 30th Anniversary product idea won the votes of 10K LEGO fan supporters in just a few months since its entry in the crowd-sourcing platform in June of this year. It’s quite an accomplishment for a LEGO Ideas product idea considering the relatively short amount of time that it took to earn the necessary LEGO fan votes to move on to the Review Stage. This proposed LEGO set comes in at approximately 900 pieces, almost at a similar piece count to that of the LEGO Ideas Central Perk. If you look closely, these sets also somehow share a notable similarity in terms of design, with both of them making good use of a central piece where all the characters interact. It will be really interesting to have these sets displayed side by side if in case the former becomes an official LEGO set. The LEGO Ideas Seinfeld 30th Anniversary product idea also includes minifigure versions of Jerry Seinfeld, George Costanza, Elaine Benes, Cosmo Kramer and “Newman”.
LEGO Ideas Seinfeld 30th Anniversary Product Idea
On July 5th, 1989 the show about nothing was born.
This LEGO Ideas project celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the beloved classic 90s comedy sitcom with an accurate recreation of Jerrys Upper West Side Manhattan apartment using approximately 900 LEGO Pieces.
It also includes 5 minifigures including Comedian and show namesake, Jerry Seinfeld, neurotic best friend George Costanza, friend Elaine Benes, eccentric but kind-hearted neighbour Cosmo Kramer and Jerrys arch nemesis, mailmanand neighbour known only as “Newman”.
With your help and vote this project could become a real LEGO set so you too can recreate your favourite scenes about nothing.
The Seinfeld 30th Anniversary product idea joins Queen: I Want to Break Free as the second project to qualify for the Third 2019 LEGO Ideas Review Stage. So what do you think about this 90s sitcom-inspired set? Do you think it will win the approval of the LEGO Ideas Design team? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
While this year’s LEGO Ideas Second 2019 Review Stage has already begun, we now have our very first 10K entry that qualifies for the Third 2019 Review Stage. Garnering a total number of 10,000+ votes from the LEGO fan community, The Queen: I Want to Break Free project by Han Sbricksteen features the band’s iconic 80’s music video rendered in LEGO bricks.
This brick creation comes in at approximately 1,300 pieces and features minifig versions of the band members Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon and of course the legend himself, Freddy Mercury. It was a long road for this project since it was introduced to the public more than 2 years ago, but I guess its worth the wait. The Queen: I Want to Break Free LEGO Ideas project is slated for review at the latter part of this year.
The Queen: I Want to Break Free
Welcome to the most famous living room in the history of music videos
Wake up and visit the funniest house with Freddy Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. This set is a tribute to the famous music video I Want to Break Free. The song with the same title was included in the classic album The Works (1984), by Queen. This project pays homage to one of the most influential rock bands in music history.
Includes 8 minifigures: Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon, and the same musicians in disguise.
The house has two sections: the living room with the stairs and the kitchen.
All the rooms are completely furnished.
Accessories include a vacuum cleaner, two feather dusters, a scourer, four forks, four knives, four cups, two newspapers, a vase, a bottle, a can of soda, a carton of milk, a carton of juice, a pretzel, two cherries, a banana, and a sausage.
Great for display or role-playing scenes from the iconic music video.
This set includes over 1300 pieces.
The model measures over 5” (14 cm) high, 17’’ (44 cm) wide and 7’’ (19 cm) deep.
After some relatively minor controversies, the LEGO Ideas Second 2019 Review Stage finally commences as announced over at the LEGO Ideas blog site. With more than 10K fans supporting each of these 10 product ideas, the window for the qualifying period between May to September 2019 has already closed. Those entries that will hit the 10K mark will be considered for the next review period which will begin on January 6, 2020.
The LEGO Ideas Review Team is still hard at work wrapping up the First 2019 LEGO Review Stage so its exciting to see how this will turn out. I’m personally cheering for 123 Sesame Street Apartment Building by Ivan Guerrero so I hope this build gets selected. For the meantime, let’s take a look at these 10 entries, and comment down below on which LEGO product idea do you think will turn out to be the next official LEGO Ideas set. Just click on the following links to know more about these entries. Congratulations to all the candidates!
Last week, we first reported a rather puzzling move by the LEGO Ideas Team on two LEGO Ideas archived projects that made it through the 10K fan support milestone. Unfortunately, these product ideas – the Gravity Falls Mystery Shack by Figura and Japanese Tea Garden by Coosey Goosey – were later removed from the Achieved Support page which will make them eligible for the Second 2019 LEGO Ideas Review Stage.
It didn’t help much also that LEGO was quite mum regarding the reasons behind this issue since a lot of LEGO fan support went out to these product ideas with the hope of seeing them as actual LEGO sets in the near future. Needless to say, it left most fans of the LEGO Ideas platforms scratching their heads a bit, searching for possible answers to this unusual situation.
However, it now looks like that LEGO is now giving fans an idea of what has happened that led them to make such an unusually tough decision. LEGO opted to break their silence over the matter so that fans may have a better understanding of what really transpired with these LEGO Ideas archived projects.
One of the two LEGO Ideas archived projects that reached 10K fan support: the Japanese Tea Garden.Another LEGO Idea archived project: the Gravity Falls Mystery Shack.
Here’s what the LEGO Group has to say over at the LEGO Ambassador Network:
Although questions haven’t directly come in via LAN, I can understand there are some questions about the recent archival of the two LEGO Ideas 10K Club submissions Japanese Tea Gardens and Gravity Falls Mystery Shack.
It’s incredibly rare that we make the decision to remove submissions that have achieved the 10,000 supporter milestone and to not allow them through to the review stage. Unfortunately, after a thorough evaluation we made the tough decision (because we can clearly see that both models are incredibly well built) that in these two cases we had to do this as the submissions did not comply with our Terms of Service. We couldn’t, in respect to the LEGO Ideas community, move the submissions into the review stage as well as award prizes, whether the main prize or the consolation prize, to the members in question.
Although we know that you’re all very interested in knowing the specific underlying reasons for why we decided to archive them, this is not information that I can share with you out of respect for the privacy of the members in question. Should the members in question choose to share the reason for the archival of their submissions, then they are welcome to do so.
From what we can learn from LEGO’s statement, it looks like the Gravity Falls Mystery Shack and Japanese Tea Garden entries violated the LEGO Ideas’ Terms of Service. Obviously, it’s a broad statement, to say the least since we have no way of knowing exactly what this particular breach in TOS is LEGO is exactly referring to.
It could be anything in particular within that lengthy agreement, but according to the exchange of discussion within the LAN group, it was mentioned that one of the builders of these entries was a previous LEGO Store employee. That could point out a possible reason why these product ideas were eventually shelved. I guess these are speculations, to say the least, until such time that the owners of these product ideas will speak and share their own side of the story. LEGO made it clear that they are free to do so, and it’s now up to Coosey Goosey and Figura if they wish to shed more light on this matter.
So what do you think about this new revelation? What other possible reasons do you think that the LEGO Ideas Team could have in shelving these LEGO product ideas? Let me know in the comments below.
