The LEGO Friends Beach Adventure Park (41737) set was recently revealed by a LEGO Certified Store in Singapore and is slated to release in June. With 1,348 pieces, this set features a range of thrilling rides and attractions that will transport you to a fun-filled summer day at the beach.
Dive into the Details of the LEGO Friends Beach Adventure Park
Based on this image shared via the LEGO Certified Store’s Facebook page, here’s a breakdown of some of the key features that make the LEGO Friends Beach Adventure Park set a must-have for LEGO amusement park enthusiasts:
The Wave Rider – Includes an exciting watercraft, a minidoll, and a small camera for those Instagrammable selfies.
The Fun Bay – Features a spinning ride, a classic amusement park attraction that swings riders through the air aboard several brick-built sea creatures: a dolphin, sea horse, and sea tortoise. It also includes an actual spinning function via a turning mechanism located at the base of the ride.
Refreshment Stand – It’s kind of clever to see how those angled studs, first used in LEGO Collectible Minifigures DC Superheroes 71026, were used here as drinking straws. The stand offers hotdogs, pizzas, and an assortment of drinks for our local Heartlake City residents.
Pirate-Themed Shooting Gallery – There are plenty of prizes up for grabs in this pirate-inspired shooting gallery. It’s also nice to see that LEGO threw in some exclusive elements for the prizes in this portion of the set, such as the trans-green balloon dog (previously an exclusive minifigure accessory to the Party Clown from CMF Series 18), and the tan rabbit stuff toy (first included in large, more expensive sets such as the LEGO Icons Holiday Main Street 10308, LEGO Ideas 123 Sesame Street 21324, and LEGO Friends Heartlake City Shopping Mall 41450). The rabbit stuff toy element also made its debut as a minifig accessory to the Pyjama Girl from LEGO CMF Series 20.
LEGO Friends Beach Adventure Park Set Minidolls
This set includes four mini-doll figures – Zac, Nova, Charli, and Dia – who are all dressed for a day of fun in the sun.
LEGO.com has not yet listed this latest LEGO Friends summer offering. But we can expect an official reveal anytime soon and a launch date sometime in June. This set is expected to retail for around $100 given its piece count and minidolls included.
With all the excitement surrounding some of the largest and most eye-catching LEGO sets to be launched next year, it’s kind of easy to overlook that there are plenty of 2023 LEGO polybags that will also launch come by January. And with more than a dozen polybags to collect coming from homegrown LEGO themes, there’s surely something for everyone.
From LEGO City, Friends, Creator, and more, this initial wave of 2023 LEGO polybags is expected to be available in-store at all LEGO brand and certified stores, including partner stores. Some of these also come with new pieces or minifigures that you may want to add to your collection as well.
Traditionally, they are only available for in-store purchases as a nice add-on to your LEGO purchase costing you only around $4 or less.
Take a look at these polybags and let me know which of these you would to have in your cart.
It has been customary for The LEGO Group to brighten the season for its employees and active community members (via LAN or LEGO Ambassador Network) with a free LEGO set that is exclusively made for them. Last year, it was Ninjago’s moment to shine with the Temple of Celebrations employee gift. And this time, with only 30,000 copies said to have been released, the LEGO Employee Gift 4002022 – 10 Years of Friendship exclusive focuses on the LEGO Friends theme, and its joyful celebration of a decade of friendship.
The LEGO Employee Gift 4002022 comes in at 1,209 pieces and features the minidoll versions of classic LEGO Friends characters such as Stephanie, Mia, Olivia, Andrea, Emma, and a costumed Santa figure. The set features a colorful fireplace with a touch of LEGO Friends aesthetic. It also features several references to previous LEGO Friends sets in the form of printed(?) tiles and plenty of translucent pieces that serve as a glass-stained decor for the base of the fireplace. On top of the set is a room where the original characters of the theme are gathered for drinks and a little get-together and catching up.
The LEGO Employee Gift is not available commercially or for reselling, however, it can’t be avoided some employees or recipients of this exclusive set throughout the years opted to sell it for parts or for some additional cash to be used throughout the holiday season. But in my case, I will surely be thankful for such a lovely and exclusive set. Any free LEGO is very much welcomed, especially an exclusive such as this.
Here are additional details about this set and special thanks to Hoth Bricks for sharing this as well.

As they mentioned in their official press release back in October, this reimagining of one of LEGO’s longest-running themes (LEGO Friends first came out a decade ago on January 2012), now includes a more diversified set of new Heartlake City characters. More modern families and friends are now better represented, with acceptance and diversity being at the heart of each new LEGO Friends 2023 set.

LEGO’s near-infinite variety of pieces also includes elements depicting food items for the minifigures. These range from beverage glasses and cups, to pieces shaped like fruits and vegetables, to tiles representing plates. That last group would also include one familiar LEGO food piece: pizza. Believe it or not, the LEGO pizza tile can be used to check the evolution of detail in LEGO sets. The most recent iterations of the pizza piece can be found in twosets that launched this past New Year’ Day. And surely some builders have looked at a LEGO pizza tile and wondered: How does it look like when life-sized?
i always thought the lego pizza had pepperoni on it but it turns out theyre green and instead of using a vegetable of some sort yes, i did dye the pepperoni (salami) green. pic.twitter.com/KwTjKCBnTw

Well, Brick Fanatics tells us that a Twitter user went and recreated a LEGO pizza piece in 1:1 scale. Did we mention the de-fictionalization was made of edible ingredients? User girlpatched space dog (@dogs_on_mars) posted photos of her efforts on Twitter Sunday, January 23. As seen in the photo above @ dogs_on_mars made an actual pizza, using food colorings to achieve the right tile colors. The crust is a bright yellow, while cheddar slices went under the tomato sauce. The green spots, which the creator believes are green-colored pepperoni, were replicated with green food color.

As if that wasn’t enough, girlpatched space dog decided to take things full circle. She scanned her actual LEGO pizza in Bricklink Studio to make a custom pizza piece. The results can be seen in the second tweet series above. The green pepperoni apparently didn’t translate well, and commenters offered that the green stuff was probably basil. But hey, we appreciate the experiment. At least we now know how LEGO minifigs perceive their pizza tiles.
If one needs any indicator that LEGO is for girls too, look no further than the “Friends” themed line. Introducing a slice-of-life theme featuring a circle of diverse female friends was a marketing masterstroke for the global toy giant. Collectors fell in love with the whimsical sets featuring more detailed and expressive “minidoll” figures representing actual characters. And like its male-oriented fellow theme “Ninjago,” LEGO Friends got a companion animated series of its own. Despite some controversy, the line has done LEGO well since debuting in 2012. That also means that this 2022, LEGO Friends is celebrating its first decade.
Brick Fanatics reports that as part of the 10th Anniversary celebration of LEGO Friends, LEGO gives fans a promotional timeline. “10 Years of Friendship” chronicles the journey of the Friends theme, covering every year since 2012. It can be downloaded in PDF form from the “About” section of the LEGO.com Friends theme page. For dedicated collectors however, they might observe some timeline details that don’t quite match up. The information claims that 2012 was about developing/introducing the theme, with the first LEGO Friends sets arriving 2013. In actuality the line did release its first wave in 2012. Still, “10 Years of Friendship” makes for a nice digest of events in LEGO Friends history, noting the subthemes and prominent set launches.
Quite the number of new LEGO Friends products joined the New Year’s launch storm. Here’s a quick rundown of these:
