LEGO Masters Minifigure: Exclusive SDCC 2024 Collectible Unveiled

A super rare LEGO Masters minifigure at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2024 has quickly become the talk of the event, sparking excitement among LEGO fans and collectors alike. This exclusive minifigure, tied to the LEGO Masters panel, is not just any collectible—it’s a rare gem that’s making waves due to its scarcity and the unique circumstances surrounding its availability.

The Ultimate LEGO Masters Minifigure Collectible

The SDCC 2024 LEGO Masters Minifigure Reveal

The excitement began when Instagram user @charlydarksaint shared a sneak peek of the elusive LEGO Masters minifigure. This teaser left fans buzzing, as the minifigure was confirmed to be an exclusive item available only at San Diego Comic-Con 2024. Unlike the usual LEGO convention exclusives, this minifigure has quickly become a must-have for dedicated collectors.

Interestingly, there are two variations of the LEGO Masters minifigure that have surfaced at SDCC 2024. The first version, as seen in @charlydarksaint’s post, sports red legs. But that’s not all—another variation with white legs was spotted by @louiebaton, adding another layer of excitement to the hunt for this exclusive item.

How to Get Your Hands on this Exclusive LEGO Masters Minifigure

For those lucky enough to attend SDCC 2024, the white-legged LEGO Masters minifigure was up for grabs as part of a special LEGO prize pack. This prize pack was not just any giveaway; it also included rare LEGO Marvel comic covers, a LEGO Masters keychain, and a coveted copy of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 26 (71046). Additionally, the white-legged variant was handed out to attendees of the LEGO Masters panel, further fueling the minifigure’s legendary status.

The Rarity Factor: A Collectible for the Ages

What makes this minifigure even more enticing is its rarity. According to reports, only 135 of these minifigures were distributed during the event. Even more fascinating is the discovery that the minifigure comes with red, white, and yellow leg variations, though only the torso remains the exclusive piece. This scarcity has skyrocketed the minifigure’s desirability among collectors.

Missed SDCC 2024? Here’s What You Can Do

For those who couldn’t make it to San Diego Comic-Con 2024, there’s still a silver lining. While the LEGO Masters minifigure might remain out of reach, you can still dive into the world of LEGO with the newly released NINJAGO panel, which has been made available online. This panel offers a tantalizing glimpse into the future of the NINJAGO theme, keeping LEGO fans engaged and excited for what’s to come.

The exclusive LEGO Masters minifigure from SDCC 2024 is more than just a collectible—it’s a piece of LEGO history that fans will be talking about for years to come.

Whether you were one of the lucky few to snag one or are still searching for it online, this minifigure represents the pinnacle of LEGO collecting. Keep your eyes peeled—you never know when another rare LEGO gem might appear!

Special thanks once again to @charlydarksaint and @louiebaton for sharing these images.

This Custom LEGO Sauron Bids For You To Submit… and Get Its Free Building Instructions!

This post about our Custom LEGO Sauron building instructions was originally published back on August 10, 2019 and has been updated here to reflect The Brick Show Shop’s latest update on this free offering.

Fans of J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic understand the significance of the coveted One Ring, created by the Lord of Darkness, Sauron, who relentlessly seeks its power.

Created by the Lord of Darkness himself, Sauron will never stop until he gets his hands once again to his source of power and existence. And Sauron’s feeling of morbid triumph and diabolical satisfaction is perfectly captured by builder Aaron Newman in this retelling of one of the literature’s vilest characters.

This Custom LEGO Sauron Bids You To Take A Second Look!

The Dark Lord of Mordor is relentless in making sure that the One Ring finds his way back to him. In fact, we see Sauron even wield the powerful Ring in the first scenes of the blockbuster film, Lord of the Rings. This moment was excellently rendered in bricks in his custom LEGO Sauron as you can see below.

LEGO Sauron

Aaron’s creative vision for this custom LEGO Sauron drew its inspiration directly from the iconic 2001 film, where audiences witnessed the armor-clad behemoth relentlessly hammering away at the overwhelmed forces of Middle-Earth.

The beauty behind this LEGO masterpiece lies in Aaron’s skillful use of metallic grey and silver pieces, a deliberate choice that bestows upon this brick-built, diabolical figure an aura of sinister grandeur. These carefully selected elements, with their gleaming sheen, imbue this custom LEGO Sauron with an air of malevolent royalty, capturing the essence of his character in every meticulously placed brick and detail.

Furthermore, this custom LEGO Sauron features a realistic build that is very imposing coming in at 13 inches in height. The details on Sauron’s helmet and mace are spot-on, with Aaron effectively using those new LEGO Ninjago blade pieces to Sauron’s advantage.

This Imposing Custom LEGO Sauron MOC Stands at 13 Inches!

The rest of the body is also properly scaled, giving this custom LEGO Sauron a deceitfully fragile look as the antagonist would like to make his enemies believe. Its slim figure is basically compensated with its heavily armored garb, complete with a pair of capes and a destructive mace.

If you’re eager to gain deeper insights into the meticulous design process that brought this remarkable custom LEGO Sauron MOC to life, I invite you to delve into Aaron’s blog entry. You’ll discover a treasure trove of information, unveiling the creative journey, innovative techniques, and artistic inspirations that shaped this extraordinary build.

Aaron’s blog is your portal to a behind-the-scenes adventure, where the magic of LEGO craftsmanship unfolds, offering you an intimate glimpse into the artistry that birthed this exceptional masterpiece.

So forgive me if I can’t overemphasize it enough – it’s simply too good to give a pass.

Auditions for LEGO Masters US Season 2 Is Now Open!

We’re still feeling the hype with Tyler and Amy being awarded as the first-ever US LEGO Masters, and it looks like FOX is now gearing up for season 2. Yes, you heard it right – LEGO Masters US Season 2 is happening, and with it, a casting call has been announced once again via a dedicated website

LEGO Masters US Season 2

Same as before the launch of the first season of the show, would-be LEGO Masters will need to register online by filling in details (and a lot of it actually) about themselves including other relevant info that highlights their love for the LEGO brick.

You can either register by pair or solo (though the former is more desirable) and be sure to have images of your or your partner available, including five of your best ORIGINAL LEGO builds or MOCs. Be sure to also have a 1-minute video that describes what you love so much about building with LEGO and why you or your team should be considered as the next LEGO Masters. There is no particular deadline that was mentioned as of this posting, but its always better to be prompt with auditions such as this.

I just hope that similar to what Season 2 of LEGO Masters Australia has to offer which is already airing, by the way, LEGO Masters US Season 2 will represent a more diverse selection of contestants from the LEGO fan community.

So what do you think? Do you have the passion, skills, and creativity to become the next US LEGO Masters? Be sure to register and let us know what you think.

LEGO MASTERS is produced by Endemol Shine North America and
Tuesdayʼs Child under license from The LEGO Group, for The LEGO Group. It is aired via FOX TV in collaboration with Plan B Entertainment Holdings.

LEGO Masters Australia Season 2 Kicks Off Today

Season 1 of LEGO Masters US may already be over, but it seems that Australian fans of the LEGO-inspired reality show will now see more of Hamish Blake and seasoned LEGO Certified Professional Ryan ‘The BrickMan‘ McNaught as LEGO Masters Australia Season 2 kicks off today.

The highly successful collaboration between Tuesday’s Child Productions and the LEGO Group saw a huge audience viewership of more than 1.3 million all over Australia – prompting both companies to bet another season for the show. Here’s a look at this batch of LEGO Masters Australia Season 2 contestants, all vying for that sweet $100,000 prize and title to become the country’s next pair of LEGO Masters.

Here’s a video that introduces our eight pairs of LEGO Masters hopefuls. What strikes me the most is that unlike our initial batch of contestants from the first season of the show, Season 2’s contestants seem to be more diverse, representing a larger portion of the LEGO fan community. One of the criticisms that were thrown over at the show during its first season is its seemingly “unbalanced” roster of contestants, consisting of professional LEGO builders as well. I’m not familiar with this next wave of contestants but based on their video interviews, I can fairly say that they represent a much better section of the larger LEGO fan community.

The first episode of LEGO Masters Australia Season 2 will air on Nine today, April 19, at 7:00 PM (AEST).

And Our Ultimate US LEGO Masters Are…

The first season of LEGO Masters US has concluded, with three teams: Tyler & Amy, Mark & Boone, and Sam & Jessica giving all they have in their final builds, and bid, to become the country’s ultimate LEGO Masters.

**********[WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD]**********

The journey to win the title was a long and daunting one, with ten teams from the LEGO fan community all vying for that prestigious title, one-of-a-kind brick trophy, and an impressive $100,000 prize money. And this time around, the final episode sees three teams pushing those LEGO bricks on what could be the most challenging 24 hours of their lives.

In this final challenge, the task at hand is for the pairs to create anything that they can think of that will represent their most creative work during the season. For Mark & Boone, the challenge was to create Artopia, where they envision a community of artistic LEGO minifigs coming together to celebrate their talents in spite of being in a post-apocalyptic era.

Sam & Jessica’s final build shows a playful representation of The Peacock and the Monkey that combines both of their creative talents in a fun and unique way. Needless to say, this is the greatest entry that they have conceived throughout their entire stint in the contest in spite of all the ups and downs that they’ve been through.

And finally, Team Tyler & Amy wowed the judges with their final build, the Treasure of the Griffin. Not just master builders themselves, the couple has also perfected the art of brick storytelling in their final entry. Other than the superb aesthetic and technical aspects of their builds, the story itself, I feel, represents their instinctive desire as soon-to-be parents to provide a loving and protective environment for their family.

Needless to say, this is the most difficult episode for judges Jamie Berard and Amy Corbett. And though there were episodes that I would find myself passionately disagreeing with them, I feel that they were at the top of their game as fair, and discerning judges during this final episode. They managed to provide constructive feedback that the finalists willingly considered, while being unbiased and objective.

Though I loved the team dynamics between Sam and Jessica, I always felt that among the three, they will most likely end up in third place leaving the teams of Tyler & Amy and Mark & Boone competing for the grand prize. And in the end, though it is a difficult and nerve-wracking task, Jamie and Amy gave their decision and awarded the ultimate LEGO US LEGO Masters title to Tyler & Amy. The expectant couple eventually received an awesome LEGO trophy plus a $100,000 cash award that will certainly be put into good use as they prepare for the arrival of their little bundle of joy.

Congratulations Tyler & Amy and surely, it’s a brick journey that your child will very, very proud of. I can just imagine him cheering for his mom and dad. For more of Tyler & Amy’s LEGO creations you want to check out Tyler’s Flickr page where they render in microscale all of their entries throughout the show’s seasons. Tyler is also helping out making our stay-at-home more fun through his latest videos entitled Quarantine Creations so you may want to check it out as well.  Again, congratulations to both Tyler and Amy, and all of the LEGO Masters US contestants!

LEGO Masters US Episode 2 Recap: Its a Smashing “Sacrifice” for Tyler & Amy

While we’re waiting excitingly for Episode 3 of LEGO Masters US to air tonight, let’s go back and see some of the highlights of last week’s episode. Though it’s the reality show’s first high-stake chapter where we see our first heart-breaking eliminations – sadly, it was Jessie and Kara who have turned in their minifig avatars –  we also saw some of the most epic Space Smash creations that LEGO Masters US Episode 2 can bring.

Episode 2 brought a smashing challenge to our 10 pairs of LEGO Masters where they are tasked to create an epic alien-inspired build that will be obliterated in the most magnificent fashion. Check out the final entries of our brick contenders. All images are courtesy of Fox.

  • Tyler & Amy  – The Sacrifice
  • Sam & Jessica – Space Cats & Dogs
  • Jermaine & Mel – Legor
  • Amie & Krystle – Planet Volcalia
  • Manny & Nestor – Alien Planet
  • Travis & Corey – Doomsday Drop
  • Richard & Flynn – Volcopolis
  • Mark & Boone – Unicorn Spaceship vs Robot
  • Jessie & Kara – Alien Attack
  • Aaron & Christian – Catastrophe at the Crescent

Victory smiled favorably on the newlyweds, Tyler and Amy, with their gorgeous, brick storytelling of “The Sacrifice”. Their story is straightforward but emotionally compelling both on visual and conceptual levels. The Hero, in order to permanently stop the scourge of the alien monster, offered his life by dropping a canister bomb that destroys the alien and himself in the process. The story’s dramatic tone was felt even more striking when Tyler and Amy rendered the Hero’s Sacrifice in the most spectacular way using an ingenious combination of LEGO bricks and good ‘ol gravity.

LEGO Masters US Episode 2
Thanks to our Hero’s sacrifice, Tyler & Amy were handsomely rewarded, with the couple dominating LEGO Masters US Episode 2.

I love how the organic shape of the monster alien turned out, with its over-sized eye and menacing tentacles, in contrast to our Hero’s mech-inspired build. But of course, it was the way the build exploded when LEGO Masters US host Will Arnett dropped it from the balcony that surely impressed contest judges Jamie Berard and Amy Corbett. “The Sacrifice” secured Tyler & Amy in the first place for this episode, while Sam & Jessica and Jessie & Kara dragged behind the rankings. Sadly, Jessie & Kara were struggling to put everything together with their Alien Attack build and was eventually the first pair to be eliminated from the competition.

As a tribute to the brick Hero of LEGO Masters US Episode 2, Tyler created a miniaturized version of this story that retells the triumph of selfless space defender.

The Sacrifice

In case you missed it, Tyler & Amy also stood out in the show’s pilot episode with their Funny Farm theme park MOC. You may also want to see Tyler’s mini build version of this.

Funny Farm

Remember to tune in tonight at Fox for the third episode of LEGO Masters US 9/8c. Tonight’s challenge will be “Cut in Half” where our now 9 pairs of brick masters will have to build the missing half of any random objects in the most spectacular LEGO fashion.

What was your favorite build in LEGO Masters US Episode 2? Let us know in the comments below.

LEGO Masters US Episode 1 Recap and Highlights

The pilot episode of LEGO Masters US has finally arrived last week, and our ten pairs of contestants never failed to wow viewers and LEGO fans with their awesome builds and Instagram-worthy brick creations. The rule is simple: build the grandest and most ambitious original LEGO creation in 15 hours based on an overarching theme, and see if it can tick all the boxes that the judges are looking for.

LEGO Masters US

For its first episode, Will Arnett did not beat around the bush (except for an occasional joke or two) when he explained what’s at stake throughout the entire competition: a staggering $100,000 for the winning pair, a unique LEGO trophy, and the bragging rights for the first-ever LEGO Masters US. And for the first challenge, they have to impress contest judges Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard with their original Dream Park Theme Park creation with the goal of earning the elusive Golden Brick. This will grant the winner a kind of immunity that will protect them from elimination whenever they find themselves in a rough spot throughout the course of the contest.

Each pair of contestants went to work right away determined to create an impression with their first entry in this season. Christian & Aaron turned heads with their visually stunning Spaceland carnival and its massive Ferris wheel centerpiece. Krystle & Amie immediately knew that a Fairy Wonderland Park is the thing for them with their Flying Fairy Carousel. The LEGO-building, police and communications tandem of Mel & Jermaine opted for an Egyptian-themed Pharaoh Sands theme park. The father and son team of Manny & Nestor and their Team G Dream Adventure Mountain. Undoubtedly, one of the most elaborate builds in this episode were also delivered by Boone & Mark with their Timber Town theme park. Not to be outdone, Sam & Jessica also came up with their own mechanical rides with their candy-themed, Sugar Hill theme park. Perhaps the most technically challenging creation in this episode will be Tyler & Amy’s Funny Farm with its ‘egg drop’ silo. The Daydream theme park is a sort of throwback to brothers Travis & Corey when they used to make their own brick-built rides when they were kids. Jessie & Kara, on the other hand, found themselves in a relatively difficult situation when they decided to scrap their original plan altogether in favor of a pirate, castle, and space-themed park which they collectively dubbed Journey Through Dreams. But thankfully they managed to pull it off. Finally, we have the team of Richard & Flynn with their Spooky Town carnival ride with its bat-themed Fun House.

spaceland
Christian & Aaron’s Spaceland theme park wowed the judges in this first episode of LEGO Masters US, giving them a one-time shot for immunity in the next grueling challenges of LEGO Masters US. Image via Fox TV.

In the end, there can only be one recipient of the Golden Brick and for this episode, the immunity goes to the winning duo of Christian & Aaron with their Spaceland theme park. Manny & Nestor also teetered towards the bottom two ranks together with Sam & Jessica. The former due to an incomplete roller coaster ride that failed to impress the judges, while the latter due to a glaring technical problem with their motorized bumper cars. If Boone & Mark somehow managed to pull off the roller coaster mechanism in their Timber Town, I’m very positive that they will have a greater chance of earning that Golden Brick.

In a gladly surprising turn of events, there were no eliminations during this pilot episode. However, the stakes will be higher this Wednesday where we will get to see who among our teams will be the first to go home. Be sure to stay tuned on Fox this Wednesday at 9/8c where our contestants will be coming up with their best space-themed creation that will be later on smashed in slow motion. While waiting, be sure to keep those purchase receipts when you buy your next LEGO set to have a shot in winning through the LEGO Masters US Sweepstakes raffle.

LEGO Masters US Sweepstakes Gives You a Chance to Win a Year’s Supply of LEGO

The first episode of LEGO Masters US already kicked off yesterday, and I’m glad to see that none of our contestants are going home yet after a grueling 15 hours of building time (I’ll talk more about this on a separate post). While we’re eagerly waiting for the second episode to air next week, you might want to head over at your local LEGO Store to challenge yourself with that next awesome build. Because for every $10 you spend for any LEGO products will entitle you to a raffle entry to the LEGO Masters US Sweepstakes.

Every LEGO set purchase during the Registration Period from February 1 to April 30 (worth $10 or more) qualifies you to join the sweepstakes. For example, if your single-receipt purchase is worth $10 then you get one raffle entry, two entries if it is worth $20, five if it’s worth $50, ten entries if it’s $100 and so on.

And the prizes couldn’t be sweeter. Every week starting February 17 and every week thereafter, LEGO will draw from the pool of sweepstakes entries to select the winner of a Weekly Prize which is $500 worth of LEGO sets. And on May 11, winners for the First and Grand Prizes will also be selected where the First Prize Winner will receive a year’s supply of LEGO valued at $3,000, while the Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a trip for four (4) to LEGOLAND in New York.

The nice part about this LEGO Masters US Sweepstakes is that your LEGO purchases are not just limited to a LEGO brand store or LEGO Shop@Home in order to qualify, but may also include LEGO purchases with other partner stores as well such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target.

Remember to keep your receipts on your next LEGO purchase and read the rest of the contest rules to know more about how to submit your entries. Again registration for the LEGO Masters US Sweepstakes will end on April 30, 2020 (11:59PM ET) so be sure to grab your next LEGO bricks and receipts before then. Happy building!

A number of celebrities will also be in the show such as Terry Crews, Nicole Byer, Mayim Bialik, Phil Lord, and Christopher Miller.
