Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot 76993 set is the latest addition to the theme, alongside the new LEGO content announced to be a part of the new SEGA 2D video game, Sonic Superstars.

During the annual Sonic Central live stream, held to celebrate the beloved hedgehog’s birthday, the LEGO Group and SEGA made two exciting announcements. First, LEGO fans can now look forward to the release of the LEGO Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot building set, which showcases the thrilling confrontation between the heroic Sonic and the villainous Dr. Eggman. And secondly, SEGA has promised new LEGO-inspired content as part of the upcoming Sonic Superstars video game. The fast-paced video game is also expected to feature an exclusive LEGO Dr. Eggman in-game character skin which you can get when you pre-order the game.

The Epic Showdown: Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman!

The new LEGO Sonic Vs. Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot 76993 set consists of 615 pieces, allowing fans to recreate the epic battle scene between Sonic and Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman’s infamous Death Egg Robot mech features a removable capsule that holds the small and adorable animals captured by the evil doctor to power up his suit. Accompanied by his loyal assistant Cubot, Dr. Eggman will go head-to-head with Sonic in a high-stakes showdown. But the Blue Blur can never be taken down so easily. Sonic, equipped with his Speed Sphere, can blast into Dr. Eggman’s mech freeing the captured animals and saving the day.
